With the hot weather in Japan starting to disappear, I’m starting to think about the season of fall. It is maybe my favorite season and I have great memories of fall in my hometown. In America, fall is the beginning of the school year after a long summer vacation. Just like in Japan, the leaves on the trees beautifully change color and eventually fall to the ground. During fall, you can enjoy delicious foods such as apples, cinnamon, pumpkin pie and more. Popular activities include apple picking, watching football and enjoying campfires. In the Midwest, the weather starts to get quite cold in fall with snow sometimes falling as early as October. For this reason, I have always loved to drink hot apple cider with cinnamon to warm myself. Although I will not be in America for fall this year, I am looking forward to an end to the hot weather and enjoying the many Japanese fall traditions!
